It’s that time again. Every year, the Donesafe team take part in the Whole Life Challenge; a program designed to help you tweak your daily behaviour over a number of areas to lead to a happier, healthier lifestyle. The whole team are taking part this year, so, being a technology company, we couldn’t help ourselves… we called in some tech.
Today, Richard Golder from The Best Me I Can Be (pictured above) wheeled in the InBody 570 and performed a body scan analysis (totally optional of course). We stepped on, the machine beeped a few times, played some elevator music as it scanned us one by one, and spat out an in depth body composition analysis covering everything from body fat mass to how balanced our arms are. Aside from the fierce competitors among us, the results were private; though I’m not ashamed to admit it: If I were a house, I’d be a renovator’s dream.
To be clear, it’s not as much about weight loss and fitness as it is about general betterment of wellbeing and health. The Whole Life Challenge is an 8 week program that uses a point system to help participants improve their wellbeing holistically through seven categories:
The rules are pretty simple: meet your goals daily to get the max points for the day. By the end of the 8 weeks, yes, there will be a winner BUT hopefully each participant will leave with some new healthy habits. And that’s what it’s all about: not just a competition, but helping to make a happier, healthier team…
Also, last year I won by a lot of points.
